A nice story  - posted by Rocky Keele 07-24-2007 21:16
A nice story with a good moral. I got a little bored in places and it seemed that the story lost focus a bit. I really liked that Atticus, the father of the narrator, was a good man and taught his children what was right by living right, even when it hurt.

This is another one of those classics that many people are "made" to read yet I thoroughly enjoyed it. The writing is amazing! About the family of a white lawyer who defends a black man. An all around good story that really makes you think about justice and the way things are. The best part is that it is told from the point of view of a young girl. Ranks very high on my list of great books.
