I also really liked this book. Crichton has a way of making you hold your breath through the whole book. I also agree that the ending was a classic.

Great Ending  - posted by Cin 03-10-2007 23:02
I liked this book mostly for the ending. Don't get me wrong, the beginning and middle were great, but every moment in this story was literally ticking away, counting down to what happens in the end. Intense and exctiting.

Medieval Europe and Science!  - posted by Rusty 03-10-2007 11:50
Ok, so I put this book on Crichton's "good" list. It is an interesting story and has some cool technology in it. This is classic Crichton! About a group of archaeologists employees who travel to 1300's France, and all the bad and exciting stuff that happens to them there. If you like "going back in time" stories, or Michael Crichton books, then definitely give this one a try.
