For a great author, I sure think Michael Crichton is hitandmiss sometimes, and this book is closer to the "miss" mark. I looked on Wikipedia, and this was his 11th book, so I guess he was still in his "learning" stage. About a man who gets electrodes implanted in his brain to help him control his seizures, but then things "go terribly wrong." There are plenty of other good Crichton books out there, try one of those first.

I'm assuming this is one of Chrichton's first books, since it was written in the 70's. I liked this one its short, intense and hard to put down. It about experimental treatment for mental patients gone awry.
