I actually liked the fast pace of this book. It was a writing style I haven't come across, and there were places in the book that my heart was actually pounding. It was exciting! I loved all the places the book took us throughout Europe, having never been there myself, I loved having that visual in my head. Yes, a lot of loose ends were conveniently tied up, but contrary to Rocky and Rusty, I thought that was due to some smart writing and a well planned story line.

A fast paced thriller that was just too unbelievable. Too many places where I was saying, "No way!" It did bring up some interesting theories about Jesus though. I'm really not sure why it got so popular.

Ok, for being such a wildly popular book I was kind of disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I found this book to be too fast paced, too coincidental and too lucky. (Same goes for the movie too!) About a scholar in Paris who gets caught up in a holy grail conspiracy. My recommendation: read one of the countless other "good" books out there.
